Attorney at law & insolvency administrator in Vienna

You get a clear answer from me.

I explain in plain terms what is happening legally and what it means for you, even when the case is tangled. I show you what matters and tell you what options you have and which one I would take in your position. That is how we find the way that fits your situation.

That assessment rests on more than three hundred insolvency proceedings. The Vienna Commercial Court appoints me insolvency administrator on an ongoing basis, so I know both sides of the proceedings. I represent debtors and creditors throughout Austria before courts and public authorities and in business negotiations.

What to expect

How I work

The best way is a short phone call. Monday to Thursday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Friday until 4 p.m. someone at the office picks up. Within a few minutes we know what it is about, and we arrange an appointment.

In the initial consultation you hear how I assess your situation and what my work will cost. You know both before you decide on anything.

If you instruct me, I usually handle your case personally. If a colleague takes over part of it, I tell you who, and I remain responsible. Every document you receive from me comes with my explanation of what it says and what it means for you.

Focus areas

How can I help you?

I have worked in insolvency law for years, on both sides of the proceedings: representing debtors and creditors and serving as a court-appointed insolvency administrator.

Insolvency, Bankruptcy and Restructuring Law

The proceedings at a glance: bankruptcy, restructuring, debt settlement →

Beyond that, I advise existing clients on corporate and contract law, mainly where it is connected with an insolvency. I refer everything else to colleagues who deal with it every day.

InsoRechner

I developed the tools I use to calculate the statutory costs of insolvency proceedings myself, as an app. I make it available free of charge; the calculations run on your device, and your entries only leave it when you share or export something yourself.
